There aren't many women's options for a boot of this style with a flatter heel and a more rustic look. I bought these for myself and am loving them (size 7). Nice wide toe box and room for thicker socks, the edge around the ankle is padded, and these are comfortable. I like the rugged look. Not super warm as they aren't lined but perfect for fall or to wear with a warmer sock. I'm glad I purchased!

I bought these shoes exactly two years ago. I have worn them everyday to work and at home and have found them extremely comfortable. The stitching and leather portion are still in good shape. I have worn the sole at the ball of the foot very thin and the comfort has diminished for long wear time. I have just ordered another pair. I hate to change something that is good.

These are a GREAT deal! They look fabulous, and fit like a glove from the minute I slipped into them. They have the look and feel of quality. Absolutely true to size. I never owned Caterpillar shoes before, but I will again! They are reasonably and I love their styles.

I'm about to order my 5th pair of these boots (maybe 6th? I've lost count). They are a great chukka boot. Most important...they are light weight. I always have two pair. I wear the old pair as my work boot and the new pair for dress causal . Fit is just right, large toe box. Can't say enough about how good of a boot they are....Remember...LIGHT WEIGHT.

Granted, I'm a smaller dude (5'9") with smaller feet and high arches (8.5 in my brand of running shoes; 7.5 in 'dress shoes' that fit well) but I've had a lot of trouble finding chukkas. These Caterpillar shoes STILL at 7.5 are too big--really wide toe box--ended up ordering 7s on a different site since 7.5s were the smallest available here. Love them. Thanks Zappos for letting me try a BUNCH of different chukkas.

They're about as stiff as you'd expect, most durable shoes take some breaking in, but they're also comfortable right out of the box. There's actually a liner or maybe even thin insulation in the toe, so if you're in FL like me they may get a bit too hot. But some people might want that. True to size and I like the style. I'm actually wearing them as office casual at times since they look so good.

Lightweight so I can walk much farther more easily. Excellent tread so great on trails, streets, wherever. Good looking for most occasions. Laces stay tied. All-around excellent boot/shoe. Five stars.

Great looking boot with a little extra room for thicker socks. I wear the heavyweight darn tough socks with them to make it through winter. Excellent tread. Good value!

This shoe seemed satisfactory in almost every aspect except one. When laced up and tied, I found that the knot created by the laces came up over the top of the tongue in such a way that it dug into the top of my foot (ankle). In essence, the tongue was too short. If the shoe had been manufactured with a longer tongue it would have been a great shoe. Because of this flaw I will not recommend this model of shoe.
